Wright Connatser is giving “The Accommodation” to bigBANG! attendees

This important book explores the complex history of race relations in Dallas

As a sponsor of the social impact summit bigBANG! 2021, Wright Connatser Law is making available complimentary copies of “The Accommodation” to all attendees. Jim Schutze’s book is a searing account of race and racism in Dallas from the time of slavery through the Civil Rights movement and the city’s desegregation efforts in the 1950s and ‘60s. Deep Vellum published this new edition with a foreword by Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price.

Those attending the bigBANG! Marketplace on Oct. 28 will receive information about how they can download a digital version of the book, as well as register for delivery of the print edition when it is available toward the end of this year.

Wright Connatser is making copies of “The Accommodation” available because of its importance in explaining Dallas’ racial history and the opportunity that provides to create a more equitable community for everyone living in it.

It’s not too late to attend bigBANG! 2021, which runs Oct. 25-29 online and in-person at Paul Quinn College and Pegasus Park. Click here to register.
